Joseph Peck - Class Of 1967

Joseph R. Peck, 71, of Scranton, died Thursday in Regional Hospital of Scranton.

Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Frank and Anna Washeleski Peck. He was a graduate of South Catholic High School and Bloomsburg University. Joseph worked for more than 20 years at the USPS before retiring, and previously was employed by Lomma Enterprises. A member of Divine Mercy Parish, he was an avid bowler who participated in numerous leagues.

Surviving are a brother, John Peck and wife, Sandi, Clarks Summit; sister, Mary Ann Davis and husband, Michael, Scranton; nephews, Michael Davis Jr., Cory Davis and Chris Peck and wife, Alicia; nieces, Ann Malysa and husband Rob, and Kimberly Davis; and great nephews, Caleb and Mason Malysa.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 11 a.m. in Divine Mercy Parish by the Rev. Francis Pauselli, pastor. Interment will be private. Friends may call at the church from 10 to 10:45 a.m.
