Carolann Francosky Hoppe

Carol Ann Age 60, of Hector, NY, who lived with gentle and loving grace on this earth, was called home to her Lord on Wednesday, April 9, 2003. Carol's life will be celebrated for the high principles by which she lived, her strong religious devotion, and for the inspiration she was to family, friends and students. Friends are invited to call Sunday, 6 to 8 p.m. at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen, NY; a prayer service will be conducted Sunday at 7:45 p.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial Monday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's of the Lake Church; Rev. Paul Bonacci celebrant; burial at Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date. Expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to Schuyler Outreach Catholic Charities. She is survived by her husband, Rudy; son, Jesse Hoppe of Hector, NY; daughter, Sarah and fiancé, Luke Farno of Oklahoma; mother, Mrs. Alice Franskosky of Scranton, PA; brother, Frank and fiancé, Patti Smith of Los Angeles, CA; brother-in-law, Robert (Laura) Hoppe of Waverly, NY; and several cousins. Carol was a member of St. Mary's of the Lake Catholic Church in Watkins Glen and was an elementary school teacher at St. Mary Our Mother School in Horseheads, NY.
