On Wednesday, October 23, 2019, Joseph E. Cawley, Jr. passed away peacefully at the age of 77. Joe was born May 12, 1943, in Scranton, PA. He attended South Cathollic High School and then Villanova University.
Joe was the Class President at South Catholic HIgh School.
Joe was my friend since grade school and I always admired him for being a great athlete and a good person. Joe was a writer and wrote a novel about his brother Jim and our neighborhood. Joe will be missed.
