Anyone who knew Suzanne, knew a brave and courageous girl. I had the privilege of growing up with Sue and she was a great friend and neighbor. Suzanne must have been the prettiest girl in the military; she was a beautiful person inside and out. Thanks Sue, for serving this great country – we all love and miss you.
Thank you for the kind words. Sue was beautiful inside and out. She was a wonderful friend, her family always treated me great. She was a hard worker and was very dedicated. Miss her!
Surprisingly, Suzie and I met up in, of all places, VIETNAM!!
She was a nurse and I was combat medic. We were both stationed in Cu Chi[about 22 miles NW of Saigon]. I don't remember how I knew she was there but I commandeered a jeep and went to visit her and her husband, Al Cisco[also a UofS classmate of mine]. She was a nurse in the 12 Evac[uation] hospital.
I also sadly recall attending her Memorial service after her sad passing.
